Are you a leader of a student organization? Sign your group up for the Quaker Vote Project (QVP) and help us get students to the polls this November!
In 2016, only about half of Penn’s students voted in the general election, less than the national average. This year, studies show that Pennsylvania young voters have the second highest impact out of any state in the nation. Join Penn Leads the Vote and the Voter Engagement Council in promoting voting on our campus by hosting voter-related activities at your next General Body Meeting. How much you do is up to you, and PLTV staff are ready to help every step of the way.
By joining the Quaker Vote Project, your group will be publicly recognised for its commitment to voter engagement and will be eligible for additional grant funding to host voting related events.
Have a large international or otherwise ineligible population? No problem! PLTV believes all students should be involved in the democratic process, and many of the activities recommended are inclusive of all students.
